Moneual MiNEW N20U Netbook
Korean firm Moneual launches the MiNEW N20U netbook. The stylish device has a pretty standard configuration getting an Intel Atom 1.6GHz CPU, 1GB of RAM, and a 10.1-inch LCD display. Instead of 160GB hard drive, like most netbooks, the N20U has either a 16GB or a 32GB SSD. It supports WiFi 802.11b/g/n.
HP DreamScreen 100 and 130 Wireless Connected Screens
HP announces the DreamScreen 100 and DreamScreen 130 wireless connected LCD displays. These wireless screens connects easily to a wireless or wired network to bring photos, music and video into any area of the home.
HP’s DreamScreen lets you stay current with Facebook friends and photos, listen to Pandora Internet radio, share Snapfish personal photos. It can also stream music and pictures from home networked PCs. The 10.2-inch DreamScreen 100 and 13.3-inch DreamScreen 130 both come with 2GB internal memory and have a USB port. They support WiFi 802.11b/g wireless connectivity.
The DreamScreen 100 is available now for $249 and DreamScreen 130 will be out this fall for $299.99.
Dell ST2210 and ST2310 Full HD LCD Displays
Dell launches the ST2210 and ST2310 Full HD widescreen LCD monitors, both based on TN LCD panel and feature 1920×1080p Full HD resolution. Except the screen size, the 21.-inch ST2210 and 23-inch ST2310 are basically identical, offering 50000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 250cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time and 160/160-degree viewing angle.
Dell’s new LCD displays have HDMI, DVI-D with HDCP and VGA inputs. The T2210 and ST2310 are priced at $199 and $229 respectively
MSI Wind Top AE2200 All-in-one gets detailed
MSI releases details of its Wind Top AE2200 all-in-one desktop computer. The all-in-one PC features a 21.6-inch Full HD 1080p LCD display and the 7.1 SRS Premium Sound system with 5Wx2 speakers. It has the Wind Touch UI touchscreen interface.
The Wind Top AE2200 is powered by Intel’s pentium Dual core 4500 processor, up to 4GB RAM and ATI’s Mobility Radeon HD 4650 graphics with 1GB Video memory. It packs a 3.5-inch 500GB hard drive and a tray-in DVD SuperMulti writer. WiFi 802.11b/g/n is included.
Other features include a 1.3 Megapixel webcam with microphone, 6-in-1 card reader, HDMI port, eSATA port and four USB ports. The Wind Top AE2200 can be equipped with optional digital DVB-T TV tuner and optional touchscrene panel. It has VESA standard wall mount.
Sony VAIO X Ultra Slim Notebook
Sony announced at the IFA 2009 its VAIO X series ultra slim notebook that is just 0.5-inch thick and weighs just 1.5 pounds. The VAIO X will use carbon-fiber for the chassis and aluminum for the keyboard. The final specifications has not been confirmed but the device is currently running on Intel’s Atom.
The VAIO X has a 11.1-inch display, two USB ports, VGA output, multi-in-one memory card slot and Ethernet port. Sony will officially launch VAIO X in October. Will it get Intel CULV processor and Windows 7? Let’s wait and see.
Dell Inspiron 13 13.3-inch Notebook
Other than the Inspiron 11z, Dell also releases the Inspiron 13 notebook with a starting price of $499. The 13.3-inch laptop can be equipped with either Intel’s Pentium Dual or Core 2 Duo processor
and up to 4GB of DDR2 memory. Intel GMA X3100 integrated graphics can be expected.
The Inspiron 13 packs up to 320GB hard drive and a slot-load DVD+/-RW writer. It has a 13.30inch 1280×800 LCD display, a 2 Megapixel webcam, a 8-in-1 media card reader, an ExpressCard slot, and four USB 2.0 ports. In addition to WiFi 802.11b/g/n, buyers can also get the optional Bluetooth 2.0 module.
